The second swap was a Vintage Swap with MamaRoots, a beautiful and inspiring blog out of Missouri. My partner was actually Chris who writes MamaRoots. We had to exchange a vintage marble, vintage hankie and a vintage postcard. The marble I sent came from my garden, I find quite a few out there for some reason. The hankie was hard to find but I finally found one. Low and behold the postcard was from a stash I found when cleaning and organizing my house. Chris sent me a fantastic vintage marble from the Elias marble factory in Germany, a gorgeous green hankie and a lovely postcard which was mailed 101 years ago, ON MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY! How cool is that? All in all I would say this was great swap although I think I should have looked harder for a better postcard, sorry Chris.
Here is a shot of the Texas Cake Brownie thingy from yesterday. Yum.
And here you go Coleen, who wondered what I look like and Amy who thought I was in the shot yesterday.
Me in San Francisco in Chinatown eating DimSum, can't wait to go back in October!
Finally the long weekend is over, not that I wanted it to be over just that it was long, 2 birthdays, 1 big party, Valentines Day and a Fundraiser dinner tonight for the Charter School. I wore pantyhose tonight, enough said.
Peace and Love,

Thanks for the photo!! Now I'll recognize that pretty mug when I see it.
