Megan over at Kitsch in the Kitchen and Tomato Tots appreciates my ability to say what I feel, not so much what I said but that I had the guts to say what I felt. She actually doesn't particularly agree with me in that post and states it in the comments. Do I dislike her for her opinion? Heck no. I respect her as much as she respects me. Tolerance, it makes the world go around. And it gets me awards, for having gonads, who would have thought, hunh? Thanks Megan for the Stiletto Award and you all should really check her out because while I whine about J.O. Megan is proactively doing something to get kids to eat healthy foods. I will be sharing this award soon so strut your stuff people lets see what you've got going on.
And Miss Christina of Dinner at Christina's gifted me with the Kreativ Blogger award, thanks Christina!

I have to share 7 factoids about myself:
I'm boring
but I have a funky grey stripe growing in my hair so that's cool(ish)
and while I am an Alaska Master Gardener I literally CAN NOT get zucchini to grow(to my eternal shame)
also currently 3 baby turkeys, 24 incubating eggs and a worm composter are co-habitating with us
today I bought a vintage console record player for 15 dollars, works perfectly, found the same one on ebay for $1,000 SCORE
and apparently I am forward, blunt, pushy and somewhat bitchy-tell me something I don't know, right?
Oh, I am participating in the Food Bloggers Nationwide Bake Sale for Share Our Strength, a bake sale for MULTIPLE bloggers to come together(LA has like 50 at one sale), I am the only one in Alaska who can/will/wants to do it, I set a goal of 500 dollars to be raised-BOOYAH!!! Come by and see me April 17th, Fireside Books, 720 Alaska Street, Palmer Alaska 10am-2pm-buy some treats or donate at the top of my blog through paypal
ok that's seven!!
Last day to enter my Seventh Generation giveaway is today, so go, hustle, don't be late!
Peace and Love,

Congrats on the double award!
ReplyDeleteI really like the blogging world too, bc I can expect good and honest feedbacks in most of my comments. It's taught me to be open-minded, too. Of course, there are still some opinions of mine that will never change, but some have been altered for the better! :)

I really really wish I had room in my flat for a worm composter and some baby turkeys. I do. I do. I'm not kidding. I'm living in San Francisco when I should be on a farm in Italy with my "people" making salami and pasta...
