I was contacted by MyBlogSpark and asked if I wanted to try Seventh Generations new Disinfecting Cleaners, it took less than a millisecond to say yes! I was provided a cleaning kit from Seventh Generation through MyBlogSpark and they have one for one of my readers!
When I received my cleaning kit I was pretty excited and so were my kids, they always are when packages show up. I was excited because I have 3 boys and I always wonder just how clean my house really is. Especially around the, ahem, toilet areas. I also make them clean up after themselves when they miss and they do miss, enter the easy to use disinfecting wipes. They are made with a thymus, a component of the herb thyme which is 99.99% effective for killing germs and they smell like cooking food. Which is kind of weird at first but I got used to it rather quickly. I don't use them for my cleaning needs but it is nice to say "take care of your mess please" and know they have an easy to use wipe that's safe for our planet.
I have used the kitchen disinfectant quite a bit, especially around the sink area where we have a tendencey to lay eggs before washing and putting them in cartons. YECH. I like the smell much better in my kitchen than I do in the bathroom, it fits better. I'll be putting the disinfectants to use quite a bit around here and I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy them.
I wish that Seventh Generation products came in bulk sizes that could easily refill their smaller bottles. I dislike small bottles of product that I constantly have to buy more of, let me buy a gallon and refill it please! Luckily we can recycle the bottles.
The kit contains:
Multi Surface Disinfectant
Kitchen Disinfectant
Disinfecting wipes
2 rolls of recycled paper paper towels
The Conscious Kitchen
and a Seventh Generation Cleaning Caddy-made of recycled materials too!

ReplyDeleteThis is a very cool giveaway! Being a student I like to think about using more environmentally friendly cleaning products, but because i'm on the broke end of things I usually have to buy the cheaper and not so great stuff. Would love to try these products though!
