The Penny Worthy Project

OH long week. Even Waldorf Inspired Charter Schools have to do mandatory SBA testing, so my kids were in test mode even though they don't test yet and I worked all week as a proctor sitting with kids who need a bit of extra help on their tests. This put me out of the house 4 of 5 days this week and my youngest with good, loving friends after kindergarten. Which is great but then this also became the week of the "Honey Covered Grocery Delivery". I don't think I'm meant to handle two big things at once beyond my normal daily load, I maxxed out. I had to hit up the thrift stores and shop my worries away. Thankfully baby boy was with my friend for an hour when I got done with the testing early and I had an hour to myself. Ahhhhhhhhh rejuvenation and then I'm better.

First things first went to the city last week and I found this great necklace.

                                                                               LOVE!

and these wooden chickens.

I found this cute hand knit baby sweater for a dollar. A DOLLAR. I can't even imagine the work that went into it. Well that's a lie I tried to knit socks last month and I know how hard that was, ugh.

I picked up some emerging reader books

and one of our favorite stories of all time 7 In One Blow.

We are actually starting to see spring come about. It's break up, when everything is melting down, including some humans. Ahem that was me! Anyway we play and work outside a lot but sometimes we need to dry off and warm up. So we get out the garnish book, completely ignore it and do our own thing.

carrot raft with radish fisherman...KonTiki anyone?

Peace and Love--
