Yum Hey What's for Dinner Mom?: The Penny Worthy Project

The Penny Worthy Project

Eating from the garden is gearing up this week I munched radishes while working in the garden and the kale is coming in strong. It is so much sweeter than store bought kale!

I did get in some thrifting this week, YEAH! I found a brand new life vest for my 8 year old, he weighs 90 pounds and his old vest was only good to 80.

What a boy, so tall and not at all of chubby. I can hardly believe he is getting so big. Anyway got him a new life vest to wear when we head out dip netting in a few weeks. We are really excited to be heading out for a bit more of this.

I also found a pair of cowboy boots for the littlest boy. So broke in, so ready to wear, so perfect. Yes?

I bought a pair of jeans for myself and they were too big, proof that the diet is working. So I listed them on eBay and they already have a bid. Woot and also damn, uploaded it on my phone and have no picture handy.

And for some reason I never posted this "crazy lady status" load of Garfield pencils. We will never be out of pencils again.

How about you? Are you buying or selling cool great stuff? Did you find the best thrifty recipe ever? Upcycle some amazing thing? Why not share it all here? Ebay auctions, etsy stores, thrift scores, recipes, recycling are all perfect for linking up.

Peace and Love--

  2. Good finds. I am always looking for jackets - my dgs puts his down on the playground and someone else takes it home. Now instead of new I am always looking for new to us. Thanks for hosting.
