The Penny Worthy Project

I got to this day in the week and still didn't have laundry done and I haven't vacuumed in a week, luckily everyone has been FED and clothed as needed(mostly). Non stop ALL week, busy busy busy and I went thrifting THREE times! I dragged home all sorts of great things.

One of the best, for selling, items I found this week was an almost fully intact game called Necromunda. Yes I realize it roughly translates to Dead World and I'm ok with that, as long as it sells. EACH figure sells for between 4-12 dollars and other pieces in the box sell for 4 dollars. Yahoo! I love selling these kinds of things, they always sell so well to collectors.

I also found some super cute XXL Disneyland T-shirts, they will sell well too. Ironic because I am attempting to sell enough on ebay to finance our trip TO Disneyland and then some.

I got this great old patch for a boy's coat, don't know which one yet, probably Union.

He's all about liberty and the stars and stripes so this is right up his alley.

Paperclips, yes I bought them, but for 20¢ I couldn't pass them up.

One other little treasure is a Halloween/Fall cookbook. My kids constantly fawn over these at the grocery store so I figure for a dime we could have one too.

Peace and Love--

  1. Good reselling finds this week. I usually resell what I find (since that is my business) but my heron chalkwares have been around for a long time. Thanks for hosting.

  2. A lot of my projects are supported with thrifted finds. I have stashes of boards, nails, metal bits and pieces and always find uses for them as I work through repairs. This time I had to repair a rotted post base. Glad I caught it before real damage occured.

I used to be a reseller in a mall and I can sure relate to your great finds this week.

    Thanks for hosting.

  3. Rob--I know what you mean--why buy new when you can simply pick up what you need thrift shopping--sometimes you have to wait or think ahead but for the most part it's great and works so well!

    Joy those are LOVELY!!
