Wow I forget how much I enjoy having a plan and knowing whats for dinner, because seriously with 3 boys it's ALWAYS a question. Plus looking at all the good stuff I have put away makes me happy. I do have a bulk order coming in next week on Tuesday but it was small for us and most importantly is has a CASE of sugar pie pumpkins. The slugs ate all of our squash this summer so I was happy to find them reasonably priced and available. We also get a produce box from Full Circle each week. It contains both fruit and veg, if we didn't have that coming there is no way I could go a week or two without a store run. Someone would revolt.
Just realized the world could all just keep spinning if I didn't go to the store at until after Thanksgiving. We have plenty of food. Except I wouldn't have coffee. Therefore a trip is a must, right??
Peace and Love--
I'm starting to work on a plan for food starting Sunday, and a separate plan for Thanksgiving through the weekend, and then I'll have to figure out what I need to order! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves planning!
ReplyDeleteI have just made a menu plan for my mother's, I'm going to go up there for Thanksgiving and help her out since my stepdad's health is taking a sudden turn. I'm going to cook lots of batches of things and use her vacuum sealer Doohickey and freeze all whole bunch of meals for those nights she's too tired to cook,, after I assess what's in her freezer that still usable. Hope your two boys are healing up well, and that you are getting more rest.
ReplyDeleteI would like to invite you to join me at the Clever Chicks Blog Hop this week! http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/11/clever-chicks-blog-hop-10.html
