What are you spending your pennies on?
Well it finally happened I've lost enough weight that my jeans are sliding off. I found a pair of my favorite style of jeans at the local thrift store and snapped them up. They are actually two sizes down from the pair I am wearing now but I'll be there soon. For now I'll just keep hiking these up and hoping they don't fall completely off. And I'll wear good underwear so if something DOES happen well then it's all good because my underwear won't have a hole in them.
I also picked up this really cute shirt. I love the ruffle neck like, not fancy but just cute.
|looking at it now all I can think is ewww I'll have to iron it but maybe a good tumble will help it out|
I found some other great stuff this week a dragon drawing book for my kids. They LOVE it and have been practicing now for a few days. It helps that my youngest and I have begun reading The Hobbit too. Really fires up the imagination for him. The middle boy and dad are currently reading The Lord of The Rings trilogy, we are all about hobbits, orcs, dragons and dwarfs these days.
And I picked up a handful of gears for our gear set, there are inevitably lost along the way so it's nice to have more to replace them with.
I found this polaroid camera in it's original box. It even has film in it!
In one week I am scheduled to teach a class at NonEssentials on how to make my version of homemade Sriracha and Mild Sriracha. The classes will be held in conjunction with our downtown's Second Saturday Art Walk. This month is special lantern lift off to light up the night. I am alternately FREAKED out and calm as can be.
And this week wrapped up my month of jury duty, where I was called exactly once to be screened. I was released before anyone was picked, apparently facing a jury selection can cause some people to change their plea at the last second. Would probably work for me, if i were inclined to be the kind of person needing a jury that is.
Peace and Love--
