> hey what's for dinner mom?: Lancome DreamTone and a Bare Face Selfie

Lancome DreamTone and a Bare Face Selfie

I know I said this was going to be an all food blog from here on out BUT I had already signed up to try out the Lancome DreamTone when I said created Thrifter/MakerFixer/Farm for everything else besides food. So you get to read my review of Lancome DreamTone and see me here in a bare face selfie. ACK.

I've always had an odd combination of dry skin and acne, it's not a fun mix. I've spent my life trying to keep moisturized and also blemish free. Most of my teen years were spent without any skin problems but in my 20s and 30s my skin blemishes have increased. I have some scarring from this and of course living in Alaska I have sun damage happening too. I wanted to see what Lancome DreamTone could do for me because it's "a serum specially formulated to reduce the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone and color imperfections"   BRING IT ON. If it can do any of that on any level I'd be a happy camper.

I'd just like to leave the house without foundation and not feel naked. I don't wear a lot of make up only Bare Minerals powder foundation or Bare Minerals Mineral Veil most days. Some days I'm just not up to wearing make-up, or I totally forget to wear anything is what usually happens and then I feel like a troll. A troll with scarring and dark spots.

So I've tried the Lancome Dream Tone serum for a few weeks now. I have to say I LOVE it. I never look in the mirror and say wow I look good enough to take a picture and share it with the world. My phone had zero selfies up until last week. Then I was gearing up to head out for my daily skiing workout and I caught site of myself in the mirror and thought "wow I do look really good, good enough to share." Which I did and I am doing again here. This is me bare faced no make up what-so-ever and very very brave.

A lot of the acne scarring has faded. My skin is radiant. And I just like the way my skin looks everyday with or without powder or foundation.
I received a sample of Lancome DreamTone to review, the opinions are all mine.

  1. I would LOVE to look as young and fresh as you do!! But for me, at 63, I think I would need a 55 gallon drum of dreamtone to soak myself in for about a week, lol. You are so pretty.

Am I talking DIRECTLY to you? Well then let me know!
